Hi there, thanks for checking out my blog! My name is Kim, I’m 37 years old and I live in Ormond Beach, Florida (just north of Daytona) with my boyfriend Dane. I started this blog to document my WLJ (weight loss journey). I will try my best to post pictures of the food I eat along with my workouts. I have a love/hate relationship with running but I’m trying to turn it into a loving relationship. 😉 I’m currently plugging away at the Ease into 5k program.
Since March 2011, I’ve been trying to lose weight. I joined Weight Watchers in May and only went to meetings until July. I tried to follow the program online for several months, but didn’t have much success. I feel like I need the meetings to keep me motivated, so I just recently went back. My goal is to live a healthier life while still enjoying the finer things in life. (like food and beer!)
I wasn’t an overweight child or even a teenager. I was always involved in sports, whether it be basketball, volleyball or softball. The weight didn’t start to pile on until the age of 20 when
a few too many way too many beers and a very unhealthy diet became a way of life.
In March 2011, I weighed in at 200.6. I had never seen a number starting in “2” before and I vowed to never see it again.
